The Puzzle of Europe

Partner schools send each other postcards of their town or country with some simple sentences (greetings, short description of the place) in their own language with English translation or in the language they learn at school. Students paint Europe on a very big poster, using a different colour for each state, and stick the postcards they receive on the big puzzle of Europe, where every single piece is important and needed. A Google map of the involved schools is also created. Eventually teachers help students decode all the gathered information and perceive differences and similarities among places, landscapes, ways of life, languages. Possibly students research and learn more about countries.
