Comenius project :Effective Communication with children who have special needs

People communicate to achieve their desired outcomes, consciously and unconsciously, related to emotions, opinions and responses. We aim to improve the ability of the teacher and child to communicate effectively. We will review systems; processes, and existing research to aid us in our information gathering. To support the teaching and learning of children with special needs, we seek to draw on the strengths of our European partners in specific special education provision and inclusive practice in mainstream schools to better understand each countries approach to effective communication by and with children.
