eTwinning A MILLENNIUM OF BEAUTY - Art in ancient Greece and Rome

title footer

The goal of the project is to develop and stimulate in a deep way the students knowledge about the Greek and Roman ancient art. The students will decide on the best creative way to share information with their partners: not only words and texts but we would like them, above all, to use a stimulating communication: pictures, video, chat, social network, etc. All material will appear in a collaborative environment: "beyond chalk and talk", to develop students' curiosity and avoid long boring speeches. Students, after a first acquaintance between the two groups will ask themselves what beauty means and subsequently they will work about the concept of the beauty in the Greek and Roman art from the 7th century BC to the 5th century AD in sculpture and architecture.
