Children are very interested in the world surrounding them. It´s the best age to reinforce lifelong learning skills about the natural environment and strategies for its conservation. This cross-curricular project will help pupils to learn about changes in the environment due to natural processes and also to human action.
Pupils will observe local landscapes and weather at different times of the year and they will also take part in cultural events related to different seasons. They will observe and describe different natural processes. They will compare them with partner countries through drawings, bar graphs, pictures, videos, Power Point presentations and flash meetings. They will learn songs in native and English languages, have a taster in their partner languages by listening to songs and they will practice their reading skills through stories or poems related to seasonal topics.
