What is fair trade?

It is a trade association that seeks greater equity in international trade. It offers better trading conditions, ensures the rights of porductores and marginal workers and contributes to sustainable development. 


Responsible consumption.Consumption is a practice that is done with sufficient awareness and information on environmental and social conditions in which they were prepared to buy products



A Cova da Terra is an example of fair trade in Lugo.

History:  The Cova da Terra, an association of fair trade and responsible consumption of Lugo, maintains 

open a shop of Fair Trade in the city for 15 years, plus an intense task 
training and awareness around international trade, fair trade, consumption 
responsible, the alternative economy, international cooperation and other issues.

We could say that the association nacimiento Pit Earth had its xermolo in 
social movement which claimed 0.7% of GDP to international cooperation, there for years 
1993. Lugo has formed a platform bringing together representatives of over 15 associations 
social and a large number of individual persons who, in addition to the vindictive actions, 
gathered to offer training and discussion of its members. This led to a group of people 
constitute, in the autumn of 1994, as a permanent working group on trade fair theme 
incipient in Galicia, since there was only one other similar group being formed in Rio de Janeiro.

Microcredit work in the following way:

Work stress is one of the most significant risks facing organizations and their employees. Stressed employees tend to get sick easily, feel less motivated, less productive and compromise its security
• The IMSS reported that work stress affects 20% of workers (2008)
• The number of employees who become disabled by factors related to stress tripled from 1996 to 2000 (American Institute of Stress).

• 63% of workers say their personal lives have been affected by stress (Harris poll).

• 80% of employees feel stressed at work, more than half of them say they need help to manage stress (Gallup poll).
Work stress is the response people have when the demands and work pressures exceed their ability to handle them. The pressure is a natural part of any job, and helps employees stay motivated. When this pressure becomes excessive or uncontrolled, the stress eventually affect the performance, which affects both the company and employee health. Research shows that job stress can occur at any level in the organization, and some signs that the employee is stressed are:

• Changes in behavior
• Indecision
• Increased sickness absence
• Decrease in performance, eg, inability to concentrate
• Work in excess of or inability to delegate
• Relationship problems
• Smoking or heavy drinking
tips for life in general, but surely a greater impact on relaxation and productivity at work. Here goes:
1. Up early a little more. Get up fifteen minutes early in the morning. Unavoidable and unexpected setbacks will be less stressful.

2. Leave everything ready the night before. It's about letting all the things that are usually needed the night before, breakfast table, clothes you think carrying materials for the job ...

3. List what you do during the day. Do not rely on memory. The pressure of trying to remember and not forget it can be stressful. So the best thing is to record the hours of interviews, or other obligations (shopping, laundry, errands, etc.)..

4. Do not do things you regret, do not tell lies. Do not do anything having been done, take you to tell a lie. Conceal the lies you will create more stress than you think.

43. Time for yourself. Save time for yourself every day. Give it for privacy, tranquility and introspection.

In Galicia there is a company, MS VISION, that work with stress reduction but still this option is in test.
