Another song from Germany

Just got a CD of our choir. Here's a song to share with you after a great year spent together.

Ich wollte nie erwachsen sein,
hab immer mich zur Wehr gesetzt.
Von außen wurd' ich hart wie Stein,
und doch hat man mich oft verletzt.

Irgendwo tief in mir

wo alles Leben ewig schweigt.
Kann ich noch meine Träume sehn,
wie Luft, die aus der Tiefe steigt.

Irgendwo tief in mir

Irgendwo tief in mir

I never wanted to be an adult,
I've always set to fight back.
From the outside, was I hard as stone,
and yet I have often been  violated.

Somewhere deep inside me
I'm still a child.
Only when I can't feel that anymore
I know it is too late for me,
too late, too late.

Down on the seabed,
 where everything is silent forever.
I can still see my dreams,
such as air, which rises from the depths.

Somewhere deep inside me
I'm still a child.
Only when I  can't feel that anymore
I know it is too late for me,
too late, too late.

I glide through the darkness
and wait for the morning light.
Then I play with the sun beam
of silver in the water breaks.

Somewhere deep inside me
I'm still a child.
Only when I can't feel that anymore
I know it is too late for me,
too late, too late

  Lyrics:

German Song

I have finally managed to upload a song for you. It isn't a children's song but a hit from the 60s, which you can find in their songbook. They seem to like it a lot, sang it for you on Valentine's Day, but my video was to big to be uploaded to the twinspace.

Today I finally managed to extract the sound without uploading it to youtube and using the youtube converter. Well, actually an IT teacher did it for me

Well, they may not be the best singers, but they performed it enthusiastically. Too bad you cannot see the video.

Liebeskummer lohnt sich nicht mein Darling

schade um die Tränen in der Nacht

Liebeskummer lohnt sich nicht mein Darling

weil schon morgen dein Herz darüber lacht

Heartache isn't worth it, my darling

wasted are your tears in the night

Heartache isn't woth it, my darling

as tomorrow your heart will laugh about it

Cukoo and Wolf

This song is about a cukoo and a wolf that were in the forest, at night, making stronge noises and the children went to take a look at them.

Estava na floresta um cuco a cantar

Por trás duma giesta nós fomos espreitar

Cú cú, Cú cú, Cú cú Curucucu

Cú cú, Cú cú, Cú cú Curucucu.

A noite estava escura e não tinha luar

Ouviu-se lá ao longe um lobo a uivar

Aú aú, Aú aú, Aú aú, Aú aú, Aú aú.

Aú aú, Aú aú, Aú aú, Aú aú, Aú aú.

There was in the forest a cukoo singing

Behind a broom we were peeping

Cú cú, Cú cú, Cú cú Curucucu

Cú cú, Cú cú, Cú cú Curucucu.

The night was dark and there was no moonlight
It was heard very far away the wolves howling
Aú aú, Aú aú, Aú aú, Aú aú, Aú aú.

Aú aú, Aú aú, Aú aú, Aú aú, Aú aú.
