I gave my students a simple task to do for homework. I asked them to do a simple model of a cell with a plastic bag representing the cell membrane, the water to represent the cytoplasm, a "kinder surprise" egg to represent the nucleus that is the biggest organelle, and smaller structures to represent the other organelles inside the cell.
