Dear Colleagues,
I really recommend Animoto (http://animoto.com) as it is easy, fast and fun. I am sure you will love it. But first you have to sign up to have an educational acount for you and your pupils (but not as an individual person at the top of the page - find the information at the bottom of the Animoto main page).

You are right Barbara. I have been looking at the different webpages and Animoto seems to be the best and easiest to use.

I have got an account for animoto and it suggests I make some dummy emails for the pupils so they can make some films. I saw the instructions but I don't understand how these dummy emails should be. The instructions say they should my emailaddress+1@gmail.com, emailaddress+2@gmail.com etc and that they will be directed towards my emailaddress@gmail.com. That way I will be able to control the pupils.
So, when it says emailaddress+1, that means for example raniabek+1@gmail.com if my address is raniabek@gmail.com?
Do you understand my question Barbara???!!!??

I understand your question. In my opinion you are right but I am afraid I won't be able to help you this time. I signed up for Animoto last year. Since I did not know about Animoto for Education, my kids created movies using my own account. When I asked for changing my account into educational one, I received it but without possibility of inviting pupils as I had already been registered. I am sure you will achieve everything on your own in hit-or-miss style. I always try trial and error method :-) and it works. When you manage to do that task, please tell us the details.

I finally made it!!
After the animoto team approved of my education account they gave me a promo/referral code and I created an account (signed up) with this number. So I have an all-access account. I had made a new gmail.com account and registered with it. Then I signed up again giving another name (a student's name and only the initial of his surname), a new password and an imaginary date of birth and as his email adress I wrote my new gmail.com email address and added +1. So if your address is mary@gmail.com, your students should be mary+1@gmail.com, mary+2@gmail.com etc.
I tried making a short video with my pupil's account and when it was ready it was sent to my account automatically! It's very good!!
