
Neapolitan “Struffoli” (Tipical Christmas Dish):
Ingredients:
· 75 grams of melted butter.
· 2 spoons of sugar
· 1 pinch of salt
· 5 eggs
· 500 grams of flour
· Little orange juice and grated zest of 1 lemon
· 1 small glass of “Strega” liquor
Method:
Mix all ingredients in order to obtain a soft dough, then cut it in very small pieces and fry them in olive oil or butter. Cover with honey, mix and put the “STRUFFOLI” in a dish. Then decorate with colored sprinkles known as “hundreds and thousands” and small slices of candied fruit.
