Thanks Teaemoticon
I wasn't quite sure where to put them. I decided that Front page would be the right place as a continuation of your post/ uploads and of the main topic: "What is Christmas like in your country?". Is it OK with you?

December in Poland :)

In Poland we have an Advent time (Advent is a Latin word meaning "waiting / preparing" (for Jesus' birth)or "coming". There are special Masses at churches called "Roraty". They are held either early in the morning or in the evening when it's already dark. Children come to church with special lanterns.

There are also wreaths with 4 candles (one for each of 4 Advent Sundays) in churches and some houses.

And on 6th December Santa Claus comes to Polish children (and not only) Traditionally He comes at night and puts the presents under a pillow. He brings the presents that children asked for in their letters (written several days before and left on a window sill:) So in Poland we are now waiting for St Nicholas' Day and we all try to be very good and behave well.

Christmas traditions in Poland

I hope you won't kill me for making another quiz  but I like the idea so much (Ksenija - thanks for sharing it) that I just couldn't resist

This one is about Christmas traditions in Poland -  the questions prepared with my students  are based on materials we've  uploaded on TwinSpace recently -  I believe you won't have any problems with solving it :)
