Village Jasenov
lies on the northern slope of Humenské mountains. Southeast from the town Humenné, between mountains Humenská Sokol and mountain Krivoštianka.

Jasenov is typical village.
Longer hike you can get through the village Chlmec and  Porúbka through the forest to the beautiful countryside of castle Vinné

  and to the Vinianske lake and Zemplínska Šírava.

Domminant of village Jasenov is castle. The castle rises on a hill behind the village. We visited this castle with our pupils yesterday.
