Blabberize

Blabberize is a photo editing tool that creates talking animations from a photo or other image. You can search ready-made blabbers or create new ones. There are some real treasures among the ready-mades, some of which you can use as examples for your students. This site includes advertising.
Students actually make a picture "talk." It could be a picture of a person, animal or an object. It could even be a drawing.

You need a microphone in or on your computer for easiest recording. To create blabs, you will need to be able to upload photographs or save then upload images from safe and legal sources. Recording by phone also works. Get started right away by choosing a photo and following prompts (arrows) below telling you what to do next. Browse a few examples first to get ideas on how to make a mouth on your photo to move and talk. Use the "mouth" and dots around them to make a shape, how you want. You have 30 seconds to narrate your photo.
Your images you can download as a video.

Prague zoo in Prague
Prague Zoo is the most visited zoological garden in the Czech Republic. Annual visitor numbers are around 1.3 million. Prague Zoo is a few kilometres outside the city centre, but fairly easy to get to by public transport.

There are 5000 animals and 650 species at the zoo, well organised over 69 hectares.

The grounds stretch from a lush river valley up a steep, rocky escarpment to rolling meadows. The views at the summit are spectacular. Over the course of 4 or 5 hours you should be able to cover most areas. Animals range from penguins, sea lions, lions, tigers and elephants to Markhor and Ibex - superbly held in mountain enclosures. Giraffes also have a huge valley to roam through. The Prague zoo keeps Przewalski’s horse, the tiger cat, the Cuban boa, the Cuban ground iguana, the Malaysian giant turtles and giant Asian pond turtles, the European ground squirrel, the Common barn owl and the European bison.
Prague Zoo is well worth a visit, not just for the animals, but also for the pleasant countryside. In the studbooks there are accurately registered all the animals of the particular species that are being bred in human care.

Malta - Valletta

Valletta is the capital city of Malta. It is a living experience of Baroque architecture, a monument donated by the Knights of St John nearly five centuries ago. Valletta has welcomed emperors, heads of state, artists and poets and is now the permanent seat of the Maltese government.

Valletta with quaint cafés and wine bars, the city is today one of Malta’s main tourist attractions, hosting among others, the majestic St John’s Co- Cathedral, the imposing bastions and a treasure of priceless paintings. It also provides a stunning snapshot of Malta’s Grand Harbour, often described as the most beautiful in the Mediterranean.

A hive of business activity during the day, the city switches to a slower gear for the night. Use it to your advantage to get away from the noise and take a stroll to admire the magic of the fortified capital amplified by the gentle lighting. Admire the bastion walls, the limestone buildings, the timber balconies, and imposing Churches.
