European mobilities

  • Comenius individual pupil mobilitySecondary schools that are or have been involved in a Comenius School Partnership can apply for grants to send pupils to one or more of their Comenius partner schools.  
  • Comenius Assistantships for student teachers: Grants enable future teachers to spend 3 to 10 months in a school abroad and to assist in teaching. This gives the future teacher the opportunity to enhance their knowledge of other European languages, countries and school education systems and to improve their teaching skills. It also helps to improve language skills of pupils at the host school and can increase both their motivation to learn languages and their interest in the assistant's country and culture.
  • Leonardo da Vinci programme: The Leonardo da Vinci Programme funds practical projects in the field of vocational education and training. Initiatives range from those giving individuals work-related training abroad to large-scale co-operation efforts.
  • The ERASMUS Programme – studying in Europe and more: ERASMUS is the EU's flagship education and training programme enabling 200 000 students to study and work abroad each year. In addition, it funds co-operation between higher education institutions across Europe. The programme not only supports students, but also professors and business staff who want to teach abroad, as well as helping university staff to receive training.
  • Europass: Create your Europass CV and Europass Language passport. 
  • Youth in Action: Youth in Action is a programme for all! It promotes mobility within and beyond the EU borders, non-formal learning and intercultural dialogue, and encourages the inclusion of all young people, regardless of their educational, social and cultural background.
  • Youthpass is a tool for participants of projects funded by the Youth in Action Programme to describe what they have done and to show what they have learnt.
